We surely appreciate tax-free weekend at our household! It helps us have the ability to purchase more needed items than we would if we had to pay taxes on them.
I listened to our local news on Friday. A politician said we should do away with tax-free weekend. He claimed it is bad for the economy.Less money the state could collect. I disagree, I would not shop. I only buy what I need as I need it. Between sales and tax free weekend, we are able to get more school supplies earlier. I don't understand why it seems okay to give welfare, but not okay to give tax breaks.
I am thankful for tax-free weekend while it last!
